The Galley Room is a boutique letterpress studio based in Hobart, Tasmania.
Run by locals Stuart and Jenny, the Galley Room was created from the couples wealth of experience in ‘modern’ printing and publishing methods, combined with their new found obsession with the classic letterpress printing technique.
Two Heidelberg T Platens (a love of precision German engineering) and lots of elbow grease, the Galley room began! Working with their vintage machines they delight in creating unique, tactile prints on beautifully textured letterpress stock.
